The cherry blossom motif consists of maple, bloodwood, and fumed oak veneers which are drawn, cut, and assembled by hand. There is a delicate walnut bead under the table aprons which frames the cherry blossom images, and the legs are shaped by hand with a graceful curve along all four faces which imitates the shape of the branches of the cherry blossom tree.
